On winows xp I ran the sbc yahoo protection which gives you anti virus and anti spy. It show they are both on and have scanned. I intalled AOL Active Security Montor It shows Anti Spyware - poor and PC Utilities - poor. My question is Why is it not detecting the Anti Spy program? 2nd question what is PC Utilities and do I need it? Thanks for any help oh I guess I have a 3rd too. With this installed do I need AVG?

I would get rid of AOL thing and keep yahoo. But to add more security add an antivirus like AVG or Avast. AOL programs usually for show only.

it only detects your first antivirus. i don't know what PC Utilities is but probably not. no.
