Internet security and acceleration server (protection)??

should i install anti-virus software in server running ISA (internet security and acceleration server)?

reason for the question is that i worry if there will be a service conflict or something like that.

in other words: can ISA server protect the LAN and also protect the machine its running on against virus/spyware/etc?

i'm running ISA 2004 (enterpr edition) over w2k3 server (which interfaces the internet, and serves as the gateway)
