How can I get rid of this asD popup that appears when I close internet explorer?

I just deleted the protection bar that was on the computer, thinking that was it but it's still there, with some other viruses

Those viruses have destroyed the internet connection to that computer (not literally) so any direct internet connection answer like updating anti-virus software or a internet scan wont work. if I can't copy it to cd and then transfer it, it wont help.

Apparently it came from one of those fake security alert pop-up boxes that go to the malicious web-site even though you click on cancel (drivecleaner, for example) and someone installed it. (not sure if it's drivecleaner or a different one) anyway, I had the fake security center alerts and such, but now it's stopped the internet connection. Is there anyway you people can help?

If you can't access the internet, download these things from ANOTHER pc and save the installer packages onto a cd or thumb drive:

CWSHredder

Superantispyware

Kaspersky free trial

Spybot

Bitdefender free trial

Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool

You can use free GarbageClean service from http://www.SecureMyWindows.com to scan %26 remove spyware, malware, trojan and viruses.
try hooking your harddive into someone elses computer and have them do a virus scan for you. and try using Firefox so things like this don't happen in the future

www.mozilla.com
No offense but i dont think you can. Try deleting everything on your hard drive(thats a pretty dumb idea), or take it in to some place.
