Ugh... viruses....?

I somehow got a trojan on my computer. I thought I had AVG Anti-virus 7.5 but I only had Anti-Spyware. So I downloaded that and I have VirusRescue v3.0.3. I keep getting those little balloons in the corner that say that I have an infection on my computer. Im not sure how I got this cause Im not into porn or anything so it may have just been a search on google, who knows. But is there anything else that I should do? I got rid of Limewire (which is pretty much my life lol.) and Im not sure if theres anything else that I should download to repair my computer. I cant buy anything or register so please dont reccomend anything like that. Please help! Thanks sooo much. Oh, also, I suddenly got this toolbar that says 'Security Toolbar 7.1'. I right clicked and unchecked protection bar but it wont go away. Will it leave if I get rid of the virus?
