Which AntiVirus is not a Resource Hog?

I have been using antivirus software(s) (norton, bullguard, antivir, etc) in my system for sometime now. Their only problem is large use of computer resources, i think its because of their "real time protection" feature. But in order to be safe we need to be protected, now the question is, which anti virus software use less memory?

Trend Micro's Pc-Cillin is what I believe the other person is referring to. That is very good. Computer Associates allows a free year trial of ETrust Antivirus which equaled Pc-Cillin for low system drag, but does not come with the extras (firewall, etc) that Pc-Cillin has. Two reviews and a link to the free trial are in sources.

I'm using Norton AV 2005 + Firewall and I don't have any such problem. It all depends upon your hardware (my configuration is Intel Celeron + 512 MB RAM + 40 GB hard disk) and RAM, and other installed software (again I'm using Office 12, FireFox, Thunderbird and other small utilities).
By far its nod32 by eset. It is awesome its not as mainstreem but your welcome to read reviews it works very good. Its not all the graphical in the first place but you can even turn to to basic text too.
