AVG Fans???

I was just wondering why that there is so many AVG anti-virus fans on here?

AVG scores so low in almost everyones Anti-virus tests, in virus detection rates:

In test after test AVG is a dog.

Sure kids, under 21, seem to like it as peer presure will dictate just what they use for computer protection....it's well like "Jamie uses it and Jen like it and her friend she is Amy uses it and this guy on MySpace said it was like good, he like said it was good, and like so it must be good".

Is there anything good to be said about AVG , except it's price?

Becuase AVG's protection sure s**ks.

Why ask a question when you've already decided your answer?

I do like AVG for the following reasons. It is easy to use, easy to keep up-to-date, it works well with other AV products installed, and it continues to work on older systems with Windows 95 or 98. (I know it's hard to believe, but I still see someone with one of these computers at least once a week.)

I have found viruses on computers protected by all of the other major players using AVG. I also run online scans after cleaning systems with it and don't find viruses.

What product do you prefer?
