Do not use Norton. Norton in turn slows down your computer considerably with the amount of services it installs.

Download the trial version of Eset NOD 32. (www.eset.com)

Also, try googling for SpySweeper.

They are handy tools to have around.

I have located and used various free software to remove sypware etc. The best I have found is from microsoft. It not only locates the spyware and unwanted programs that have been unknowingly installed on your computer by visiting various unethical sites, it also removes them.
